Preparation
- You will want to find someone to help get you the Independence Day Cloak (+10% XP gain)
- Find a patron who could potentially help with harder areas if you'd like (recommended to try and get through content solo)
The Training Academy
If you are new to ValHeel, double click on the door and answer Yes to the question "Is this your first time playing on ValHeel?" - Otherwise, select No to portal directly into the game.
New Players
You will be guided through an altered version of the Training Academy that will provide various tooltips and guides to better get you acquainted with ValHeel and it's many custom content options. Once you get to the end where you fight the Olthoi, it will have you select a Class Path. These classes are Tank (Protector), DPS (Five Daggers), or Healer (Healing Waters). Make your selection, and run back to the sentry. He will portal you to Holtburg Underground (Holtburg has been overrun).
Existing Players
When you double click on the door, just select No to the above question. You will be portaled directly to Holtburg Underground.
Select Your Manner of Advancement
Speak to Tiki's Info guide. He will direct you down the left flight of the stairs if you wish to continue from lower levels, or he will direct you down the right flight of stairs if you'd like to advance directly to level 275.
LOW LEVEL STARTING
Level 1 - 10
- Speak with Jonathan - Level 1 - 8
- Speak with Tiki's Info Guide - Level 9
- Give Pathwarden Thorolf PW Token - Level 10
Level 11 - 180 **OPTION ONE**
- Head down the left flight of stairs to visit the Drudge Pits - Level 1 - 180
- When you reach the level cap for each Drudge Pit, speak to the Milestone Manager for additional Experience and rewards
Level 11 - 180 **OPTION TWO**
ONCE YOU HIT LEVEL 180, SPEAK WITH THE MILESTONE MANAGER TO RECEIVE AN ETERNAL MANA CHARGE.

EXPANSION STARTING
Level 275
- Speak to Auxiliary of Shemtar. He will ask you if you are certain that you would like to continue with advancement, select Yes
- After you have advanced, hand him your Pocket Buffing Stone and he will Attune it for you. Attuned Pocket Buffing stone will cast level 8 buffs for you
- Hand Pathwarden Thorolf of New Vhorma your PW Token. Use the key on the Advanced Pathwarden Chest next to him for Hardened Shadow Armor and Weapon Gems
- Speak with Terra the Wise to learn level 1-8 spells

Chapter Three introduces Reputation & Prestige. You should Raise your ratings using /raise commands BEFORE raising your prestige! If you use raise Prestige or use Isel's Revenge gems before you finish raising ratings using /raise commands, you will short yourself.

Level 10,000
Hunting grounds for level 10,000 do not gain Experience. They gain Reputation at an advanced rate as well as up to an additional 1,000 ratings by just hunting. Raising Prestige is key to moving forward. You will eventually Transcend and be able to upgrade your Ascended Covenant Armor by running Raids.
